ResourcesTools that I use
Below is a list of some useful tools and services which I’ve used to help me with creating my WordPress sites.
Disclosure: Please note that some of the links below are affiliate links. This means that I’ll get a commission if you sign up using some of these links. However, it will not cost you anything extra if you use one or more of my links, you’ll just be helping to support me a bit. I’d recommend these tools even if they weren’t offering any commissions on them, as I’ve personally used them, and am very happy with them myself.
BlueHost – Professional web hosting provider. Ideal for hosting WordPress sites. It is really easy to install WordPress on a BlueHost hosting account using the 1-click installation feature in the cPanel (for more detailed information on this please read my tutorial).
Divi Theme – My favorite premium WordPress theme. I’m using it to build my clients’ websites as well as my own websites. Even this website is created with Divi.
WordPress – Official WordPress website. You can download the WordPress software for free as a .zip file from this website if you need to install it manually.
MailChimp – I recommend using MailChimp if you want to get email subscribers from your website and send them emails. MailChimp is free for up to 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 emails, what is more than enough for me.
